There are two locations and timings for our regular club meetings.
- 2/4/2019 Update:
- The day of our club meeting has been changed to the first Tuesday of every month. This was done so that more of our members could attend. Hopefully, this new day will allow members who haven’t been able to attend on Friday evenings a chance to participate. The upcoming meeting will be held Tuesday, March 5th, at 7:00pm in the basement of St. Paul’s Church near the flying field. I will try to keep the meetings to 90 minutes, but understand that important discussions or demonstrations could extend that time. For those that haven’t attended a meeting in a while, or those that have never attended, the meeting also includes coffee and donuts, show and tell, and a raffle of a new plane or R/C related equipment. These meetings are held so the club can plan events, decide on field improvements, talk about changes in the hobby, and to keep informed on new laws and regulations affecting our hobby. As members, it is your right to participate in these discussions and to present your ideas to the membership, and to ultimately vote on proposals. So please, attend, and encourage others to attend also. If you need more info get in touch with any of your officers, they are listed at the top of the newsletter.
- We usually meet on the second Friday of the month during entire year except June, July, and August at the following address. The meeting begins sharp at 7:30 PM, but have donuts and coffee before that!
St Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church
108 Dutch Hill Rd
Latrobe, PA 15650

- In the beautiful summer months of June, July and August, we hangout at our lovely airfield. Click here for more information and directions. The meetings begin at 7:00 PM. In case of inclement weather, the meetings are held at the pavilion #13 in the Mammoth Park, which is close to the airfield.
