This review of the war bird racing will be bits and pieces from July 6 and July 27.\u00a0As I recall, the judges Dean, Denny, and Chuck reported very few cuts. Apparently the flying \u00a0was very good ! Looks like Rene, Wild cat Joe, Ron, and Luke Morgan stayed well away from the\u00a0pylons while Spitfire Lyman, Corsair Vishal must have got some crap on their goggles and had\u00a0trouble seeing the flags !<\/p>\n
Mean while, P 51 Rene was plagued with engine problems. Those Roles Royce Merlin’s can be
\nstubborn at times !<\/p>\n
Vishal had an emergency landing ( engine trouble ). Can you believe this ? He landed, changed that big radial ( ie li – PO ) and got back in the race and scored his 10 laps. What a guy !!
